Drop Fuse, Drop-out Fuse

 Introduction

The main function of Drop out Fuse is to protect transformers on a rural distribution network. It is also used for unreachable Sub-stations where indication of fusing is of a great advantage. At Compaq, we design and test the dropout fuse in accordance with International standards at independent NABL accredited laboratories. Our Drop out Fuses are equipped with phosphorous bronze contacts, which ensure high-pressure multi-line connection.

These current-limiting fuses designed by Compaq meet the industry standard interchangeable cutout that is presently used for expulsion fuses. They are good to protect pole-type transformers, single-phase and three-phase laterals and underground taps. They are also a perfect solution for system protection as a secondary back-up against troubles or faults.
